Tell us a little bit about yourself: what do you do for a living? Or what has been your life journey so far?
I've always been involved in something having to do with music. I started off playing in bands and collecting records which eventually evolved into DJing. Now I've become a Music Supervisor for film and I do sonic branding for restaurants and hotels.
What are ways you find inspiration when you’re not feeling creative?
Microdosing, watching films, reading and record shopping.
What activities (indoor or outdoor) are most important to you?
I just recently got a place in LA, so I've been spending more time out West and I'm really enjoying the hikes as well as the accessibility to the beach and the desert. I also love baths and take them almost daily!
How do you interact with your home? What is your favorite room in your house and why?
I love our living room. The front door opens right to our porch which has huge cacti and palm trees surrounding it, like entering another dimension. It kind of reminds me of the scene from Beetlejuice when they open the door and there's the giant sandworm trying to attack them in the desert.
What are some self care practices you find helpful?
I exercise a lot, do yoga, meditate and try to get a facial at least once a month. I also am more moderate with drinking these days, your liver just needs a break from the hard stuff after a while.
Have you ever considered yourself a robe person?
Yes, I love robes and actually have quite the collection. I put on a robe every time I get out of the bath or shower. My boyfriend even brings his robe to the beach and wears it after surfing. Sometimes he even drives home in it, haha.
What’s your favorite Great Indoors robe pattern?
I love the Spectre and Michele likes the Waldemere.
