Beautiful items can be functional and comfortable.
At Great Indoors, we don't see our robes as strictly leisure wear. Each item is a reliable piece of your home serving a specific function in your daily routine. Our designs revel in the simple beauty of repeated shapes and colors to mirror and become a part of the pleasant patterns of your every day life.
Great Indoors started as a collaborative project to bring stylistic sensibilities into high quality homeware. The vision was brought to life between two like minded partners in New York. Amina Iman is a nine-to-five raw materials developer working in the garment district of NYC with connections to the highest quality mills across the globe. Connor Mikita is a Catskills based designer and musician who wanted to take his obsession with patterns into a physical realm beyond the world of posters, shirts, and album art. Both felt that homeware items—even something as mundane as a robe or towel—should be a cherished piece of art that compliments and inspires one’s lifestyle. Great Indoors is designed and operated in the Catskills but works with manufacturers in Portugal to produce luxurious, organic cotton materials with custom designs rooted in simplicity.
